WELL Sustainable Design Award

The Lifelong Learning Reimbursement Award from the Northern Pacific Chapter is awarded to post graduation/non-degree education or knowledge related to the interior design profession in the last two years.​

This award is sponsored by Mohawk Group.

The WELL Sustainable Design Fund awards financial assistance to IIDA Student, Professional, or Associate members twice annually whom have completed and passed the WELL AP exam.

 

Interior designers that are WELL certified demonstrate to clients and employers that they are dedicated to incorporating environmental sustainability and the health and safety of occupants into their practice.

Emerging Professional Award

The Emerging Professional Award was established to honour junior leaders in our Chapter and provides an opportunity for the recipient to attend NeoCon, the commercial Interior Design industry’s most important annual event - bringing together the right people, the best products, and the most innovative ideas. The Award is open to IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter members in good standing with 2-10 years of professional experience.

NCIDQ Tuition Reimbursement Fund

The NCIDQ Tuition Reimbursement Fund supports IIDA Associate members seeking their NCIDQ credentials. Interior designers that hold an NCIDQ certificate are able to demonstrate their skills, experience, and knowledge of core competencies in code-regulated interiors ensuring the protection of public health, safety, and welfare.

The NCIDQ Tuition Reimbursement Fund will award financial assistance to IIDA Associate members twice annually whom have completed and passed all three sections of the NCIDQ exam.​

IDIBC Student Charrette at IDSwest

Runner Up

The Teams: Four teams of six interior design students will compete for the top prize by developing a solution to a design problem while sharing their education and experience.

The Process: Teams will have six hours to develop and prepare presentations of their design solutions. The design challenge will be presented to teams at the IDSwest Industry opening night.

The Product: Teams will have 10 minutes to present their design solutions to the judging panel. The winning team will be announced in front of top industry professionals and organizations at both IDSwest and the IDIBC Shine Awards of Excellence Gala. All projects will be on display for the public for viewing.
